Téa Obreht, author of The Tiger's Wife, Inland, and The Morningside, returns with a fresh take on The Western with SUNRISE. Sunrise opens in 2024 when a plane carrying Nina and her boyfriend Ben, the pilot, crashes into a lake en route to a romantic getaway. Nina survives, and as she stumbles into Sunrise, towards survival on the edge of the wilderness, we discover that the ghost town hosts a trove of long-buried secrets, and danger lurks around every turn of the page. A mystery and survival story rolled into one, to call Sunrise propulsive would be an understatement. What a page-turner.
